The Hendersonville freshman football team kicked off their season with an exciting win at Blackman High school on Thursday. After trailing most of the game 6-2 they were able to score 8 points in the final 2 minutes of the game with a safety and a touchdown. The final touchdown came on an untimed down following a penalty on the Blaze as time expired. The COMMANDOS would score with a 50 yard TD pass to get the 10-6 victory on the road. The first home game for the freshman COMMANDOS is this Thursday August 23rd against the Mt. Juliet Golden Bears.
